A new grad from Duke University is transitioning from a post graduation internship to an offer of full time employment at an online retailer in New York City. Her challenge is how to transition into her new role while still balancing her life in fast-paced Manhattan.
The Coaching
Travis approached coaching this new grad as she would others by building awareness around the talents and gifts the New Grad brings to the workplace, and working on her presence around these skills. This allowed the New Grad to understand her own needs and how to communicate this in the workplace. Travis also offered a safe, confidential environment to work out any new workplace conflicts by coaching on communication skills and tactics for successfully navigating the corporate structure.
